Noisiest library I've been to. I don't know why sound proofing wasn't considered, especially with the all glass exterior. I expect it will only get worse once the purple line runs through the front. Genius idea to have a light rail train run through a place that should be quiet.
Spoilt people complain so much, its OK to just stay home. For the rest of folks its a beautiful building, helpful staff, nice seating, plenty of computers (some times have to wait), free wifi, airy & light filled, great location.
Probably the loudest place on earth and gets pretty packed during all times of day! No free parking :( The view is nice though!
Beautiful new spacious library with solid collections, plenty of work/study and group spaces, and a nice tech lab that includes 3D printers.
It is unfortunate that so many people are homeless and use this place during the day until the local shelter is open again. I wish more could be done for them instead of just creating beautiful buildings while there are many social issues. There needs to be more room because there are not enough seats when the library goes beyond maximum seating capacity which is quite a bit. The periodical and newspaper room is usually a mess and magazines etc are never put away properly.
