The only part of the “check” that my car failed was the window tint (something that F.Citgo doesn’t do/undo) I was given some recommendations on places in the area where I could have it removed, and once it was removed I swung back by and got all the paperwork I needed with no additional charges (or significant wait time for the second visit).
I went there for a state inspection and was told it would take an hour and a half. When I called after that much time, I was told that they were still working on it and they would "call me shortly." After another hour had passed I called again and was told the exact same thing. The third time I called I actually spoke with the person doing the inspection and was only THEN told that they hadn't even started the inspection yet. These people wasted my entire day and have no respect for other people's time. If they had simply told me there were other cars ahead of me when I got there, instead of straight up lying to me, it would've been fine, but instead these disrespectful people wasted four hours of my life and I will never give them another cent.
The worst gas station i never see als rude owner.
Take car to get repaired there... mechanic will never try to make you have work done you don't need. Very reliable and nicely priced.
All in all, I highly recommend them as a place to have your MD Safety Inspection done.
Having recently moved to Maryland I was a bit skeptical about the State Safety Inspection, even more so when I learned that the inspections were basically done in “gas stations.” Fenton Citgo was recommended to me as a good/honest place to go for my inspection.
After getting the brushoff from nearby Tires of Silver Spring when I went there to get a tire repaired, I took my wife's SUV here. The guys in the garage were very polite and very thorough in checking the punctured tire and making sure the patch worked. They charged a very reasonable price and were done in a reasonable amount of time.
Definitely come here if you need a quick patch to a punctured tire.
I HAVE NEVER HAD MY CAR SERVICED THERE. I had my car serviced in Michigan a week earlier (before I drove it 13 hours to Maryland). The fact that they didn’t try to convince me I needed anything (that had just been checked) done is why I give them a very high recommendation.
Having moved from a state where this sort of thing is not required, I was not happy about having this done in general, but I was very pleased with my experience at Fenton Citgo.
